| She did allow me to buy about an equal number of black clothes. “Allow” is not exactly accurate. I wanted someone to tell me to buy some colors. Almost everything I own is black so I can fade into the background. It’s been four years since I bought any clothes. I’ve been down to a couple of black, blue, light blue jeans, and several fading black tee shirts for a while. Did you know that black fades to different colors? Bluish or reddesh-brownish, at least with dyes in fabrics. No neutral grey. Neutral is unnatural, even neutral grey… Any choice is an opinion. Even “no choice” means something. |
